Judge Disqualifies Whistleblowers' Attys In Kinetic FCA Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (May 21, 2013, 3:44 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge Monday disqualified the lawyers for whistleblowers accusing medical device maker Kinetic Concepts Inc. of violating the False Claims Act by falsely billing Medicare, ruling the attorneys knowingly and improperly used privileged documents in their clients’ pleadings.
