$2B Hospital Project Again Clears San Fran Panel 

Law360, New York (May 23, 2013, 10:34 PM EDT) -- After nearly a year of legal and political stumbling over the environmental review of California Pacific Medical Center’s $2 billion hospital expansion plan, the project on Thursday won back expired approvals from the San Francisco planning commission.

In a unanimous 7-0 vote, the commissioners renewed their approvals for the project being spearheaded by CPMC, an affiliate of Sutter Health. Several more tweaks and recommendations, however, were added to the continually expanding development agreement.
