GSA Says Strategic Sourcing Saves $300M In Wireless Costs

Law360, New York (May 24, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The General Services Administration awarded a governmentwide contract Wednesday for discounted wireless services and mobile devices, which, according to the agency, will save $300 million over five years.

Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile were each awarded spots on the Wireless Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative contract, through which the GSA hopes to consolidate much of the $1.3 billion that the government spends each year on wireless services and products.
