Jeffer Mangels Dodges Stephen Baldwin's Malpractice Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (May 28, 2013, 7:27 PM EDT) -- A California judge on Tuesday tossed Stephen Baldwin's $10 million malpractice lawsuit against Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP, ruling the actor hadn't sufficiently pled that the firm represented him while also helping Kevin Costner buy him out of their oil cleanup company, cutting Baldwin out of a $52 million deal with BP PLC.
