NJ Justices Won't Lift Injunction On Affordable Housing Funds

Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 2:08 PM EDT) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to upend an injunction that currently blocks the state from taking some $140 million from municipal affordable housing trust funds.

In a 4-2 order, the high court said that the state's Council on Affordable Housing may continue to collect information about the ways in which New Jersey's towns have spent their affordable housing funds, but the Supreme Court refused to remove the injunction, which blocked a COAH resolution that ordered New Jersey towns to turn over their unspent...
