FTA Blasts Efforts To Derail $1.7B LAX Transit Project

Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 3:22 PM EDT) -- The Federal Transit Administration urged a California federal judge to dismiss efforts by a community group to halt a $1.7 billion light rail project intended to ease congestion to Los Angeles' biggest airport on Tuesday, saying the environmental impact of an above-ground span was appropriately considered.
