Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 1:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. military’s heavy dependence on civilian contractors — which now account for 62 percent of total U.S. forces in Afghanistan — has resulted in billions of dollars in fraud and waste due to poor oversight, the Congressional Research Service said recently.
