Malpractice Suit Over 14-Year-Old Deal Dismissed

Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed a breach of fiduciary duty and attorney malpractice case relating to a stock purchase from the early 1990s, finding that the plaintiffs waited too long to launch their case.

In a decision filed Wednesday, Judge Joan N. Ericksen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota granted summary judgment to attorneys Caldwell Campbell and Rowland Day, and their now-defunct law firm, Day & Campbell LLP.
