Touch-Tel Gets Calling-Card Marketing Case Put On Hold

Law360, Los Angeles (May 30, 2013, 7:06 PM EDT) -- A California judge on Thursday stayed a class action alleging Touch-Tel USA LP fraudulently marketed calling cards to Hispanic consumers, rejecting plaintiffs' claims that the judge was rewarding Touch-Tel for delaying the case while it reached a “sweetheart settlement” in a similar federal case.
