3rd Circ. Refuses To Reinstate 12 Suits In Asbestos MDL

Law360, Los Angeles (May 31, 2013, 4:27 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit on Friday upheld a Pennsylvania federal judge's decision to exclude 12 workers allegedly exposed to asbestos while on the job from consolidated massive multidistrict litigation, ruling that the plaintiffs' attorneys failed to provide full asbestos exposure histories.

U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno dismissed 11 cases in March 2012 and a 12th case in January, finding that the plaintiffs' submissions regarding their underlying medical conditions did not comply with Administrative Order 12, according to court documents.
