SSAI, BAE Systems Score $1.5B Army Aviation Contract

Law360, Chicago (May 31, 2013, 7:02 PM EDT) -- Support Systems Associates Inc. and subcontractor BAE Systems Inc. have scored a five-year contract worth up to $1.5 billion to provide support services for U.S. Army aircraft in Alabama, the companies announced Friday.

The Logistics Support Facilities Management Activity contract is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract, and will support the Redstone Arsenal military base in Huntsville, Ala., SSAI and BAE Systems said in a joint statement.
