Tax Code Nixes Resident's $30M Suit, NY Hospital Chain Says

Law360, Washington (June 3, 2013, 1:43 PM EDT) -- A New York hospital chain urged a federal court Friday to toss a former medical resident's $30 million putative class action alleging it made no real effort to inform residents that it had over-collected their federal taxes, saying it followed tax requirements and cannot be sued.
