GAO Sustains Protest of $347M Iraq Embassy Contract

Law360, New York (June 4, 2013, 8:54 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday partially sustained a protest over a $347 million contract for embassy operation and maintenance services in Iraq, finding that the State Department misevaluated the impact of a gradual switch toward using more Iraqi personnel in the winning contractors' staffing plan.
