NJ Appeals Court Urged To Block $140M Housing Fund Grab

Law360, New York (June 5, 2013, 10:35 PM EDT) -- Attorneys for a housing rights advocacy group urged a New Jersey appeals panel on Wednesday to permanently block Gov. Chris Christie’s administration from seizing about $140 million from municipal fair housing funds, calling the appropriation a scheme to rescind funds desperately needed to house the poor.
