Circle C Told To Stop Contacting Witnesses In FCA Suit

Law360, Chicago (June 6, 2013, 8:40 PM EDT) -- A Tennessee federal judge on Thursday ordered Circle C Construction LLC and its attorneys to stop contacting government witnesses and to refrain from damaging evidence in a long-running whistleblower suit over alleged subcontractor wage violations.

U.S. District Judge William J. Haynes Jr. signed off on the order in response to an emergency motion from the government, which said Wednesday that the order was needed “to prevent further harassment of government witnesses and to protect the overall integrity of the proceedings in this case.”
