Fla. AG Warns BofA Over Honoring $25B Mortgage Settlement

Law360, New York (June 7, 2013, 2:26 PM EDT) -- Florida Attorney General Pamela Bondi told Bank of America Corp. on Tuesday that she had concerns about the bank's "possible failure" to comply with the servicing standards required under the bank's participation in a multibillion-dollar national mortgage settlement last year.

Bondi said in a letter to Bank of America attorney Martin J.E. Arms that the bank accounts for nearly 40 percent of the 293 complaints that her office has reviewed with a national monitor keeping track of bank's compliance with the deal.
