Attys Who Left AKR Aren't Liable For Rent, Judge Says

Law360, New York (June 10, 2013, 8:24 PM EDT) -- Two attorneys who left Arkin Kaplan Rice LLP in 2012 are not liable for ongoing rent at the dissolving firm's premises, a New York City trial judge ruled Thursday, four months after telling attorneys battling over the firm's breakup the proper course was the orderly distribution of remaining common assets.
