NJ Can't Seize $140M In Housing Funds, Appeals Court Says

Law360, New York (June 7, 2013, 9:48 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Friday halted a statewide seizure of about $140 million in affordable housing funds for at least 45 days, ruling Gov. Chris Christie’s administration can’t take the municipal funds without implementing an appeals process and castigating lawmakers on both sides of the issue.
