Former Pottery Barn Worker Says Retailer Refuses To Pay OT

Law360, New York (June 11, 2013, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A former employee for Pottery Barn filed a proposed class action Friday in a California court accusing the retailer of failing to compensate workers for overtime hours and refusing to provide for meal or rest breaks.

Plaintiff Matthew Contreras, an employee from August 2010 to March 2013, named Williams-Sonoma Stores Inc., doing business as both Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids, as the defendant in the suit. The complaint was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
