Citibank Wins Arbitration Of Student Loan TCPA Class Action

Law360, New York (June 19, 2013, 3:31 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday granted Citibank NA’s bid to compel arbitration in a proposed class action accusing the bank of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by repeatedly calling student loan holders, finding the dispute fell within the scope of an arbitration provision.
