Motorola Mobility Sued Over 7 Mobile Device Patents

Law360, New York (June 19, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT) -- Motorola Mobility LLC was hit with a suit on Wednesday in Florida federal court alleging that its mobile devices infringe seven patents owned by two affiliates of patent-holding company Intellectual Ventures Management LLC.

Intellectual Ventures accuses Motorola's Photon Q 4G LTE, Atrix HD and Electrify M mobile phones of infringing patents covering multimedia messaging, the Android operating system and Wi-Fi Internet hotspot functionality, among others.
