Pilots Seek To Ground Northwest's Pension Plan

Law360, New York (January 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- As a battle over the legality of Northwest Airlines' pension plan revisions continues to rage in Minneapolis, a second group of pilots has accused the carrier of age discrimination in connection with the amended retirement package.

A handful of senior pilots filed an amended complaint in the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Washington on Wednesday, revising an earlier bid for an injunction against Northwest and the Air Line Pilots' Association over the pension plans.
