Home Depot Slapped With Wage, OT Class Action In Calif.

Law360, New York (June 24, 2013, 2:28 PM EDT) -- A former Home Depot Inc. employee hit the company with a putative class action in a California state court Thursday, alleging that the retailer failed to pay overtime or provide meal and rest breaks to its sales managers in the roofing, siding and windows division.

Plaintiff Rick Hansen claims that Home Depot violated California state law by failing to provide the benefits and by failing to provide accurate itemized wage statements. The complaint also alleges that Home Depot did not reimburse business expenses.
