Prosecutors Target 1995 Suit In Milberg Probe: Report

Law360, New York (November 17, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A shareholder class-action lawsuit from 1995 has become the focus of a federal investigation of alleged improprieties by the king of class-action suits, Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman of New York, according to a published report.

Government prosecutors have granted immunity to several participants in the 1995 lawsuit to gain their cooperation, but declined to say why the 1995 case has drawn their interest, or even to confirm that it has, the Los Angeles Times reported in its Thursday edition, citing sources close to the investigation....
