Lennar Accuses GSA Of Hiding Enviro Problems At NJ Site

Law360, New York (June 25, 2013, 4:33 PM EDT) -- A Lennar Corp. unit launched a suit Monday accusing the U.S. General Services Administration of lying about contamination from Army ammunition at property in New Jersey the company purchased for residential and commercial developments, allegedly costing it millions in lost revenue and remediation.

It's U.S. Home Corp.'s second try to get compensation from the government, following a U.S. Court of Federal Claims judge's December dismissal of another suit filed in 2009, which asserted claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Remediation, Compensation and Liability Act. The new suit...
