Hamas Victims Can't Get Alleged Funder's Assets: 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (June 26, 2013, 9:13 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit ruled Wednesday that victims of a Jerusalem terrorist attack who won a $214.5 million judgment against Palestinian organization Hamas cannot recover assets from its alleged U.S.-based fundraising arm because the assets were restrained by the U.S. government for criminal forfeiture proceedings.
