$100M Microsoft Bond Lifted In Motorola Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 12:47 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Thursday released Microsoft Corp. from a $100 million bond it was ordered to post in a standard-essential patent licensing dispute with Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc., after Microsoft argued that a recent ruling rendered the need for the bond moot.
