2nd Circ. Clears Union Carbide In Bhopal Pollution Case

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 6:58 PM EDT) -- Union Carbide Corp. is not legally responsible for pollution allegedly released by an Indian subsidiary, the Second Circuit ruled Thursday, tossing a class action brought by residents who sued the company over illnesses they suffered.
