9th Circ. Says Montrose No Help For City's Condo Battle

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 4:45 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday refused to expand the reach of a landmark California decision that beefed up insurance coverage for long-tail pollution and product liability claims, while ruling that insurers did not have to cover the city of Ventura, Calif., in negligence litigation brought by condominium buyers.
