Wal-Mart Fights For Expert’s Anti-Class Opinion In Dukes

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 4:19 PM EDT) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. urged a California federal court Thursday not to exclude testimony from a defense expert who backed the retailer's opposition to the current class certification bid in the landmark Dukes gender bias action, calling the plaintiffs' challenge unfounded.  

The plaintiffs' motion to strike the declaration of statistician Dr. Edward P.
