Aircraft Leasing Co. Exec Can't Shake $50M Fraud Verdict

Law360, New York (July 2, 2013, 8:08 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Monday denied the founder of BCI Aircraft Leasing Inc.'s request to overturn a jury verdict finding him guilty of paying a bribe and running a fraud scheme that prosecutors said pulled in more than $50 million from lenders and investors.

Attorneys for Brian Hollnagel argued in August that his conviction came without a solid link between him and any material omission or misrepresentation.
