Ex-Tiffany Exec Charged With $1.3M Jewel Theft

Law360, New York (July 2, 2013, 5:30 PM EDT) -- Federal authorities on Tuesday arrested a former Tiffany & Co. executive and charged her with stealing more than $1.3 million in jewelry from her old employer and reselling the items.

Former Tiffany Vice President of Product Development and Design Ingrid Lederhaas-Okun, 46, of Darien, Conn., was arrested at her home and later appeared in Manhattan federal court where she was ordered held on a $250,000 bond, secured by $25,000 in cash or property.
