Ford Beats Class Cert. Bid In Cracked Axle Row

Law360, Los Angeles (July 2, 2013, 8:26 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday refused to grant class certification in a case accusing Ford Motor Co. of trying to cover up a defective rear axle in its Windstar minivans, ruling that the four proposed classes didn't encompass the plaintiff's home state.
