Commerce Bank's Hill Got Fair Shot In $17M Suit, Court Told

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 9:00 PM EDT) -- Commerce Bancorp LLC on Friday urged a New Jersey federal court to deny ousted founder Vernon Hill II a new trial in his bid to claim a $17.2 million severance payment after an investigation into real estate dealings led to his resignation, saying the judge’s answer to a jury question wasn’t prejudicial.
