LA Metro Asks Judge To Toss Challenge To $1.7B Light Rail

Law360, New York (July 3, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority told a California judge Tuesday that a coalition aiming to block a $1.7 billion light-rail project has failed meet its burden of proof in a suit claiming the project violates the state's environmental quality act and other laws.
