6th Circ. Lets Goodyear Escape Lockheed CERCLA Suit

Law360, New York (July 9, 2013, 5:41 PM EDT) -- The Sixth Circuit on Tuesday turned down Lockheed Martin Corp.’s attempt to hold The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. liable for tens of millions in cleanup costs at a polluted blimp factory, ruling the facility was part of a spun-off Goodyear unit, not of the parent company.
