HBO Tentatively Freed From 'Luck' Whistleblower Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (July 10, 2013, 3:56 PM EDT) -- A California judge indicated Wednesday she would free co-defendant HBO Inc. from a suit alleging the American Humane Association illegally fired a worker for reporting animal abuse on the horse racing drama “Luck,” saying California does not recognize a claim for aiding and abetting a wrongful termination.
