By Jonathan Randles (July 15, 2013, 4:24 PM EDT) -- Mitel Networks Corp., a company that develops business communications technology, has settled its year-old lawsuit against Facebook Inc., which was accused in California federal court of infringing phone and Internet-related patents.
U.S. District Judge Edward M. Chen on Friday signed off on a stipulation dismissing all claims between Mitel and Facebook in light of the settlement. The deal between the two companies closes the door on a lawsuit that targeted key features of the social networking site.
