GSA Presses Court To Boot Suit Over Freighter Audits

Law360, New York (July 12, 2013, 2:51 PM EDT) -- The U.S. General Services Administration asked a Washington federal court Thursday to toss a lawsuit brought by a group of motor carriers over agency audits of transportation contracts that led to approximately $1 million in government refund demands.

In a motion to dismiss, the GSA said the National Motor Freight Traffic Association lacks jurisdiction for its declaratory suit, which seeks an order that the government's overcharge notices are untimely.
