San Francisco Board OKs Changes To CEQA Appeals Process

Law360, New York (July 16, 2013, 8:00 PM EDT) -- After more than a year of negotiation, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a spate of legislative amendments meant to streamline certain appeals of development projects under the California Environmental Quality Act.

In two unanimous votes, the board approved certain last-minute compromises as to how a project might continue to secure approvals even after an appeal has been filed and passed the larger legislative package that sets clear procedures for a CEQA appeal to the board.
