BP Gets Hearing On Bid To Stop Deepwater Payments

Law360, New York (July 17, 2013, 3:48 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge will hold a hearing Friday to consider BP PLC's bid to temporarily halt payments related to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, as a former FBI director investigates misconduct allegations against an attorney for the court-supervised settlement program, the judge said Wednesday.
