Texas Court Backs 'Death Penalty' Sanctions For Phony Docs

Law360, Dallas (July 17, 2013, 5:52 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court on Wednesday affirmed a $646,000 "death penalty" sanction against a steel salvage company and one of its investors, which a trial judge found had faked documents in a lawsuit against a company that agreed to sell them a defunct power plant.
