Trenton Affordable Housing Developer Indicted In Fraud Case

Law360, New York (July 18, 2013, 10:03 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal grand jury on Thursday indicted a real estate developer on 25 criminal counts, including bank and mail fraud, based on allegations he diverted money allocated for three affordable housing developments in Trenton for his personal use.

Robert Kahan of Sunny Isles Beach, Fla., was charged with three counts of mail fraud, three counts of bank fraud, two counts of fraud against a local government receiving federal benefits, seven counts of transacting in criminal proceeds and 10 counts of making a false statement...
