Safety Gear Counts As 'Clothes' Under FLSA, High Court Told

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 3:58 PM EDT) -- U.S. Steel Corp. told the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday that Congress intended to include time spent putting on protective items when it changed the the Fair Labor Standards Act to allow unions and employers to bargain over the compensability of time spent changing clothes.
