House Panel Adds Email Privacy Amendment To Spending Bill

Law360, New York (July 19, 2013, 9:51 PM EDT) -- The House Appropriations Committee on Wednesday adopted an amendment to a federal spending bill that would require the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory agencies to obtain a warrant to access electronic communications stored by third-party service providers.
