Sheppard Mullin Says Tech Co. Stiffed It On Fees

Law360, Los Angeles (July 22, 2013, 7:49 PM EDT) -- Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP on Friday filed a petition to compel arbitration in California state court, claiming that Mformation Technologies Inc. owes it more than $366,000 in legal fees for work the law firm did on intellectual property matters and patent litigation.

In a nine-page petition filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Sheppard Mullin alleges that the Edison, N.J.-based Mformation, a mobility management software solutions company, only paid about $851,000 of legal bills that were in excess of $1.2 million.
