Asian Hotel Deals Spike To $1.3B In 2013, Report Says

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 5:29 PM EDT) -- The flow of hotel deals in Asia pole-jumped up to at least $1.3 billion in the first half of the year, and with more in the pipeline, the area is set to continue to be a prime target for investors, Jones Lang LaSalle said in a Monday statement.

The number of confirmed deals alone puts the Asian hotel market on its strongest bend since 2008, and is about 85 percent higher than the $600 million that the marker saw in the same period in 2012, according...
