9th Circ. Nixes Gas Co.'s $5M Indemnity Win Against Syntellect

Law360, Los Angeles (July 25, 2013, 10:36 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit tossed a $4.7 million indemnification judgment against Syntellect Inc. on Thursday, ordering a lower court to determine whether the telecom company should share liability with Southern California Gas Co., the client it failed to indemnify in a patent infringement suit in 2011.
