Law360, New York (July 26, 2013, 1:47 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Thursday dismissed a suit launched by medical device maker Smith & Nephew Inc. alleging that rival Central Texas Orthopedic Products poached sales representatives who had signed noncompete agreements, saying the parties agreed to drop the dispute.
U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel granted a joint stipulation of dismissal that the companies had filed on Wednesday agreeing to drop all claims, but it is unclear from court documents whether the companies had reached a settlement.
