Exxon Can't Dodge $105M MTBE Verdict At 2nd Circ.

Law360, Chicago (July 26, 2013, 5:25 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit upheld a $105 million jury verdict Friday against Exxon Mobil Corp. in New York City's lawsuit alleging the company contaminated wells in Queens with the gasoline additive methyl tertiary-butyl ether, saying the state law tort verdict was not preempted by the Clean Air Act.
